"It really changed my life, I think. When Chloe and I came back from there, because we spent a really substantial amount of time there," he says. "These kids just have stories that are so tragic. And they kind of live with it daily, don't they? And it gives you a whole different perspective on the country." He adds: "All the things that couldn't have maybe happened have fallen into place. Now they feel like luck".
