Jared Hayne's Sexual Assault Victim Impact Statement
The woman who was sexually assaulted by Jared Hayne, she's come out and spoken about this. In that statement, she said her life had been launched into what feels like a never ending nightmare since September 2018. She went on to say in this statement that after going through the first and second trials that she was hoping it would all be over. The jury deliberated over 20 hours and they found him guilty of both sexual assault charges. He says the sexual acts were consensual and he has flagged an appeal against the jury's verdicts.
