Central Banks Are in a Jam Right Now

Nathanield: A lot of us think that the central banks are a little bit in a jam right now. He says they're starting to rely on other things to happen for them to even get out of this jam. The fed's only lever in this case is demand destruction, he adds. Natter: If we recognize how much their power is sort of in the realm of marketing, it would potentially give us a slightly different take on looking at monetary policy and what it can do.
