You Have to Take a Step
"If you do something, it will beget something else," he says. "It might not be the thing that you intended but never is." The first steps are extremely awkward and painful and stupid,. And people don't want to make mistakes, and people stay, you know, safe. You take a step, you find yourself in vulnerable, awkward, difficult territory. Then you deal with the feedback you get from that, and the anguish you getting from that.
