How I Learned to Take Care of My Mental Health
LZ Granderson was diagnosed with bipolar disorder at the age of 18. He says he's never used drugs or alcohol in his entire life but became fascinated by Straight Edge, a subculture that protects its members' bodies. LZ started taking medication when it wasn't working and learned to be more communicative with his doctor about how things were affecting him. His new therapist is helping him get back on track after years of treatment.
