How to Unpack an Android APK
An APK file is just a zip file. You can unzip that guy or you can use APK tool to what would that even be like unpackaged it maybe? Yeah, so one thing to note about the way that APKs are packaged is that the resources get encoded. It's not just like plaintext. So that's a lot of what APK tool does is it will correlate, it'll decode those binary resource files into plaintext XML. That's interesting. I actually don't know that that's something very interesting. I haven't heard heard of it being used anywhere else. I've only ever seen it in Android.
