The bigger your list, the more money you'll raise. I think that that message has been heard in some quarters and probably overcorrected. What happens in a lot of cases is folks don't then take into account how many email addresses or how many emails did you send to that email address? How many text messages did you sent to that phone number in order to get the donation zen? So there's a whole nother host of costs that aren't just I spent $1,000 on Facebook ads to get $1,.000 email addresses.
