The Green Cremation System in India
Human composting is currently only legal in five states in the US. In India, these are planned to make this tradition more eco-friendly. The process involves laying a body on a wooden pyre and burning it following Hindu traditions. But at the back of the site, there are these kind of metal structures with long chimneys coming out of the top. This is the green cremation system, or the greenatorium, as it's been called.
