The Role of Jesus in the Communication of Grace
The Catholic Church teaches that God is triune and that the Lord is incarnate. grace comes to us through the incarnate Lord as a partaking or a sharing in the life of the triune God. But just by mere virtue of the fact that our Lord is born time bound, He takes to Himself a human nature in this time,. That does not mean that His grace is limited to that time during which He lived on earth or subsequent generations.
