For most of his life, i didn't focus too much on on others. Candidly, i was focused a lot on myself and my career development. As i learned about financial independence, i learned about effective altruism. And so it was really mostly as i leaned into financial independence that i began to think more about why am i doing this? Why am i seeking financial independence? A big part of that is thinking about one's legacy and what we're kined of doing on this planet.
