I think that, a, it's very rare for people to stay at a company for two years without being paid in silican valle ah. A band is basically much like a start up. No money, you're told no all the time. Yon faced nothing but adversity half the time. You feel like you're kind of thrown time away because you're doing this thing that's unlikely to succeed. And i certainly thought for a good part of that that i had really made a giant mistake and convinced a lot of others to make the same mistake with me.
