The community of comics feels more divided and splintered now than it's kind of ever been. I remember when i first started on long island, there was a lot of weirdness. Aan ily say something about being gay, people would go,. And that's not a huge part of my act, to have one or two jokes about it. But it was weird back then. People lo what like, what looked like.
