The Importance of Justice in Social Orders
Little relative advantages can lead to wholesale specialization divisions of labor. In canonical econ examples, if my country is considerably better at producing wine and only a little bit better than yours at producing bread, no one seems to be suffering very much either. But say that the two kinds of activity are hard manual labor and white-collar work? The initial gap in capabilities was itself the result of potentially a small injustice. That potentially small initial injustice massively compounds.
