The Power of Different Programming Paradimes

There's a clichet about different programming paradimes changing the way you think. To me, it's a little bit like living abroad. Just living somewhere else for long enough to experience life there, you kind of start to question little assumptions about how you lived before. And i think that that different perspective that you bring home to your primary programming language is the power of learning how to solve problems in a different paradime.
