The Power of Spelling Reform in English

It's important to bring in voices other than Tolkien as examples of good world building and good conlanging. I think that spelling reform is always super fun because it like marvels me that maybe this is a property of existing in the English landscape where spelling reform is that English has always seemed to be this huge and tractable problem. But it marvels me and I'm very impressed whenever people are able to like reach a consensus in terms of like, yeah, let's actually collectively change all of these things about the way that we write.
