Your dad was not happy about this decision that you made. He thought it was a bridge too far and he decided that he was going to sell his stock and retire from the board. Did that at least temporarily damage your relationship? Yes it did but the relationship and family businesses often challenge you. But of course he was a major shareholder and when he sold his stock that wasn't that was public. People found out about that right? That's correct.
