The role of an analytics engineer is to take raw data and transform it into usable business data. It's that job of really understanding what the end like, what's going to support what the business needs. I i want to share this podcast with my old h r manager, because i would have conversations with him around we have these analysts, not quite what i need. We ended up turning some of our analysts into data engineers, but i think we have found they weren't.
