Do You Have to Do Your Due Diligence?
The Wall Street Journal actually has a great history of doing this sort of thing very well. The people I don't feel sorry for are these big institutional investors and sovereign wealth funds who just wrote these guys a check. And didn't pay any attention to where the money was going. But I sure hope they go to the back of the line when it comes to getting paid because they are buffoons and just to serve it.
