The Importance of Listening to God's Word
When I was young, I was very fortunate in Oxford to hear Keith Weston. KAA Weston was rektrips and ebbs church. He got us to open the Bibles, but not in a dry, wooden way. Part of the joy of listening to a sermon is that it's hedged with Psalms and hymns. Even ordinary words can mean more than they mean by themselves. Tom writes: "I'm an ordinary Christian needing to hear God is God of grace"
