People don't not believe that addiction to Adderall was the sole impetus for all of the harm she caused during this five year period. She ends this chapter by saying, I know my addiction was real, even if you don't believe me. People were questioning when she sold tickets to an event that she hadn't booked out really yet. The way that she sold a proposal for a book that she claimed she never intended in writing. These are all very similar things that are manic and we're curious about. It seems like a pretty strong through line throughout her entire life.
