The Rise and Fall of the Son of Sam

In June of 1977, saw son of Sam return to his grisly work. Thousands of New York females cut their hair short and applied brightly colored dyes with some even purchasing blonde wigs in the hopes of avoiding the killer's attention. It was that same suspicion along with excellent police work that finally brought the son of Sam to justice. A 1974 door yellow Ford Galaxy came to the police's attention, and they noted with grim interests that had matched the description of the car that was in Donna Loria's car. When the police contacted New York's Department of Motor Vehicles, they discovered the vehicle was registered to a one, David Berkowitz who lived up in Yonkers.
