Each chapter in the Book of Life has its seasons and now it appears we're in a different kind of winter. Durant wrote, Empires are stoic in their ascent and Epicureian in their demise. People are no different. I won't be tempted by the luxuries of an easier existence when times are good. Urgency will be manufactured. Greatness will be pulled from the earth,. resilience shaped from the chaos that surrounds me. Know that I will always be moving forward. Not because I'm ungrateful for the now.
