The Puerto Rican nationalist attack on the Capitol led to a later seditious conspiracy case. The Second Circuit said that a pretty wide geographically disparate group of people, a lot of whom didn't actually do the shooting, can be counted in the same conspiracy. That even includes someone in this case who's referred to himself as the minister of propaganda and ran the party newspaper.
