Insurance Markets in Agriculture?
Futures markets are a great signalling device in some sense. Insurance markets and agriculture, by the way, don't work anywhere in the world. Food is one market where all governments actively intervene to keep prices low. In any rop if you face a price shop, then you get insurance against policy risks. The important thing is that this is not crop specific.
