The Evolution of Life in the Deep Ocean
The deep ocean is not just a single environment or habitat, it's lots of different environments. We've got everything from muddy abyssal plains to rocky sea mounts and amazing submarine canyons. And they have their own adaptations o those conditions and patterns of life. So what this means for a biologist is that these are like natural experiments where the conditions are each time set differently.
