The Second Wave of the Revolution
The second wave of a revolution is often planned in advance and launched according to a pre-arranged timetable. August 1792 and October 1917 are the most famous radical second waves to hit a revolution. But as often as not, this radical second wave manifests itself but is then defeated by the moderates.
