I love what Jesus Christ does with us because our ubiquitous experience with shame where we enter into that deformed form of pride in a sense and feel ashamed and accused. I can hear his voice say, where are your accusers? Have no man condemned me? And then he says the only one who could have from a place of judgment condemned her because of his own purity,. "Neither do I condemn thee" He is the great liberator, liberating us from shame, from the entrapment of sin; bearing it himself in a sense with us, overcoming it and making us free.
