The Effects of Open Access on Imaging Neuroscience

I think people are starting to realize how much money is involved, right. You know, if you say, Oh, I'm going from 3500 down to 1600 for one paper. Well, maybe that's not a huge deal but most labs publish a lot. Now you're talking about support for a graduate student. That's money that could be put to something much more productive and substantial than lining the publishers pockets. And it's interesting too because at some point I think that government funders might say wait a second here this is not money well spent. So it's going to be interesting that I'm sure there'll be analysis of how much it actually costs to publish a paper. Maybe
