Cancellation Culture in the United States
Cancellations came to america first. They have emerged in us. Universities over the past seven or eight years as activist students used unline petitions and pylons to d platform visiting conservative speakers, even professors who held unpopular views. I think what we're seeing in the current movement in the united states though, is much broader than me. It's a, it goes way beyond or far right figures into a many people who are liberal, na and smaller liberals in the american context. So it's pretty broad in its innerd scope, and i think that is new. But as i say, i haven't seen it playing out to the same degree in australia
