The 1619 Project Is a Work of Memory
The 1619 project started the whole critical because i've never heard of critical race theory campaign against what they called critical race theory. It was teaching any types of histories or anti-racist texts that they didn't like so it to me it speaks to more than anything the 1619 project is a work of memory and challenging kind of our collective memory as we call it.
