The Long Tail of the Economic Cycle
I don't see the snapback. We really had a couple of years or two of strong growth before it went into more of a long-term malaise for the last decade with that moderate 1, 2, 2.5% GDP growth in the US. What I do see is more of that saving and retrenching that'll take place that'll just cause that longer tail and more of a drag on the economy for a number of years. Given the totality of what's going on across the world, no one really wants to hear of a winner when everybody else is doing bad.
