Instructionism Is Increasingly Failing to Educate Our Students
i've been reading a book recently called the credential. I don't normally read sociology, but it's just trying to expand myself into other areas. One of the points is that this basic idea that as we move into a more technological economy, people get more brainy doesn't really hold true. It doesn't really follow, because the majority of people aren't doing jobs that require technical skills. So i would er certainly challenge the second point, and somewhat challenge also the first. And what that means is, i don't think it makes sense to make the argument that people learn differently now to how they did before.
