Fluoroquinolones in the Outpatient Setting

There's only one oral antibiotic class that has activity in syncyrrogenosa, and that's the quenolone class. And so it's not like you should never use them, but we should always think twice. If you have an outpatient who has a lot of medical comorbidities, you know, diabetes, hypertension, obesity, and they develop pneumonia,. I would say a respiratory floric when alone is very appropriate use because they have the ideal spectrum for outpatient pneumonia or community acquired pneumonia.
