How Do Gender Roles Impact Women?
I would say these gender roles that our church has so clearly defined for us yeah. I think the problem comes in when once again we get prescriptive and we start talking about this is the man's job or responsibility this is the woman's job, she says. "It's not our cultures or our institutions business to impose on anybody what who they are to become from the masculine and feminine perspective" She continues: We develop into who we uniquely are with the just right combination of masculinity and femininity within each of us if everybody just sort of stays out of the way that's how full development happens.
