The Barriers to Influence and Power
I think we misrepresent how much power ministers actually have as well to the public. It's not just minister comes in and succeeds or fails. Part of our job as journalists should be to explain what the barriers are to influence and power. And people at Alistair Campbell can be blamed for that because when you lay became in, they wanted to control the press.
