Nick Land's Biographical Background
Nick Land studied philosophy under a specialist in the philosopher Heidegger. But he seemed to have had like a preoccupation, even at like a very early stage, with a kind of extreme positions. You can really get a glimpse of this in his first book which was called thirst for annihilation. The read through it and it's kind of a maddening book. It's just kind of this prolonged experiment and self derangement - unmaking of the self.
