What Is the Case for Liberalism?
The case for liberalism is often made by pointing to our pre-liberal past as one of scarcity and violence. So in your understanding, why is this assumption of primordial violence and scarcity wrong? Because sometimes in modernity, it feels violent and scarce. The reason why we experience it that way is because it becomes more true, the more liberal we become.
