The Government's Budget for the Transition to Greener Sources of Energy
There's a lot in this budget here when it comes to transition from fossil fuels to greener sources of energy. The overall goal of this budget and this spending in particular is to line up the economic incentives that the government is sending with the climate targets they have already said. We're talking about about $21 billion primarily in tax credits for clean electricity Four things like critical minerals to again get things moving in that direction Over a 12-year timeframe the government says that would actually be about $80 billion worth of tax credits that are targeted to business investments.
