COVID - Is This a Surge?

The CDC is reporting 450 new cases of XBB in the U.S., up from 380 to 550 a month ago. The number of deaths has remained at about 500 for almost 12 months, says Dr. Mike Cevallos. "We are still seeing XBB 1.5 sub variants emerging throughout the country," he says. But there's no clear regional pattern that we can hang our hat on and say this is what’s happening,Cevallos adds.
