The American Cancer Society's most recent estimates for oral cancer and oral pharyngeal cancers in the United States for 2023 is that there's about 54,000 new cases a year. Overall the lifetime risk of developing oral cavity and oralpharyngeal cancer is about one in 60 for men and one in 141 for women. And so Mark, if we think about the number of patients we as dentists see in the office each day, these figures are really impactful, wouldn't you say? Absolutely.
