The Importance of Myths in Hinduism
Krishna: There are two kinds of sources of these stories in Hinduism. One is called Itihasa, another is called Purana. Krishna: The point there is to convey a deep philosophical truth through colorful stories. He says myths are always true because the truth they want to convey is a deep truth for humanity.
