"I want to know what a Bay Area date is like in New York. I feel like it was easier in New York because it's like, you could just be like, all right, let's meet at this bar," he says. "In the Bay, it's like a hot pot... It's like a bigger commitment, right? If I'm about to drive like 10 to 15 miles to meet this stranger, I guess we might as well get dinner instead of like doing anything less."
