We'll Be Back in a Secular Stagnation World
I think secular nation is mainly a demographic story. Low fertility rates in the advanced world, and actually now in china as well, which mean stagnant or falling working age population. There's a reason that japan in the nineties was a dress rehearsal for all the rest of us. And then there's uncertainty factor, which is technology. You can hope that we will have faster technological progress than we've had in recent years,. But i would say that that's possible, and certainly not something to count on.
