The Impact of the Web on Graphic Design

There's still a split between print and web design, but not as big as it used to be. You could barely do anything in the beginning of desktop publishing. And so if you wanted to do real design, that's in print where you can do anything. But with the web, especially in the beginning, you were very, very limited. In what way? Is that a positive way? Like sometimes constraints are good for the creative process? Yeah, no, I would definitely say it wasn't the positive.
