Introduction
Hartmot michell is the 19 88 chemistry laureate. He was recognized for his work towards determining the three dimensional structure of a photo synthetic reaction centre. This was the first membrane protein structure to be mapped by x ray crystallography. Since 19 87, michel has been the director of the molecular membrane biology department at the max plank institute for biophysics in frankfort and mine.
