Inflation indicators for the US and around the world have been cycling to the downside. The question becomes, where does it trough? Where does that cyclical downturn in inflation trough? Is it down near the earlier troughs in inflation, or is it a higher cyclical low? In the 70s, what you saw in the inflation cycle there was that you were getting higher cyclical lows in inflation as the decade went on.
