Julie and Alan met as members of a Facebook group for Tolkien fans. The idea was that you write about a favorite passage in one of the books, and just invite people to talk about it with you. And somehow through our conversations in that group, Alan got the idea that I would be qualified to co-host a podcast. "I think I'm still mostly convinced that he is," says Julie.
