Is There a Memory Linking in the Immune System?

Is there a temporal window in the immune system? I think we just identified a new paradigm shifting set of experiments. Every B cell recognizes one epitope and if you're exposed to that, those B cells will amplify and become memory B cells and stay with you forever or a long time anyway. So your question is by analogy to this memory linking that we've talked. Right.
