In animals, we will call them instincts. They are essentially, they're instantiated by patterns of neural structures that have been honed and developed throughout evolution. These are basic fundamental human interactions that are wired into our neural architecture,. We're born with these. And so it's not surprising then that these can take the form of images as they... There's no images in the unconscious. This is an important point as well, which will surprise some people. It generates a feeling of warmth, of protection, of someone you want to move towards and remain with.
