What Do We Do When We Find Ourself in Exile?

I think a lot of people feel in a sort of exile and one of the things that interests me is what do we do when we find ourselves in exile? I think as a community of faith we need to develop our capacity to enter people's grief and sadness and acknowledge it. And maybe even develop some rituals around it where we can actually allow people to express it and live into it. We're just living in this space at this time, but I think if we can give ourselves at least an opportunity to grieve and to mourn the stuff that didn't make the journey with us then God is yet here in this place.
